Our advisory board member Vandana Joshi was invited as an expert and speaker for the workshop “Reconstructing the Past” as part of the interdisciplinary bachelor’s programme in the eighth semester by the Department of History at the University of Delhi. The workshop took place from 18 to 20 February 2026.

As part of her presentation, she presented a comprehensive but practical list of recommended readings. At the end of this list, she mentioned the MIDA Archival Reflexicon as a source of inspiration for case studies that can be used to understand microhistory and intertwined global history based on German-Indian entanglements.

The university comprises 91 colleges, where this material will be used by teachers with immediate effect. It will also be used by those who teach historical methodology and practice in BA Honours degree courses. The teachers present listened with great interest and attention and showed enthusiasm for incorporating the MIDA Archival Reflexicon into their teaching methods.
