Career

Atem (Nokmedem­la) Lem­tur has done her Mas­ters and MPhil at the Cen­tre for His­tor­i­cal Stud­ies, Jawa­har­lal Nehru Uni­ver­si­ty. She is a PhD stu­dent in the DFG-fund­ed Mod­ern India in Ger­man Archives project. Her research focus is on Himalayan moun­taineer­ing expe­di­tions and labour in the ear­ly 20th century.
